Sandy doesn't talk much. In fact he can't talk. His way of communication is through making shapes with his magic sand. His fellow guardians can understand him though. (That is when they are paying attention.) He is the oldest guardian and his biggest foe is Pitch Black who threatens to turn his dreams into nightmares.
